Updated guidelines for Mass
***Statement from Archbishop Perez regarding reinstating the obligation to attend Sunday Mass - each Catholic Bishop in Pennsylvania will reinstate the obligation to attend Mass in person on Sundays and Holy Days beginning on Sunday, August 15, 2021, the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. ***On June 11th, the mask mandate for indoor gatherings in Philadelphia will be lifted. Mask wearing is no longer required during Mass. Masks are strongly encouraged, however, for those who have not been vaccinated and/or for those considered to be immune-compromised. Please respect each other’s decisions when it comes to mask wearing and social distancing.


Updated guidelines for Mass - The Archdiocese of Philadelphia have approved the following changes:
Use of the hymnals are now permitted and will be available in the pews
Presentation of the gifts of bread and wine will resume
Use of holy water will be available
Beginning June 11th, masks and social distancing will no longer be required in Church
***Please remember to respect each other’s decisions when it comes to mask wearing and social distancing in the weeks ahead as restrictions ease and we return to a more ‘normal’ life.
